Friday began with a free practice for all of the cars: FIA Lurani Trophy: - Envoy MK1/3 - Ian Simmonds FIA Historic Formula Two: - March 752 - Phil Hall - March 782 - Steve Allen Followed by qualifying for the Formula Juniors and Formula Two cars. Saturday morning began with the Formula two's first race, unfortunately after a long discussion with Steve Allens engine builder the decision was made to not run the his Formula Two March 782. Phil Hall's March 752 had a DNF. That afternoon Ian Simmonds Envoy MK1/3 began the first Formula Junior race of the weekend beginning in 27th position he finishing in 22nd He also received a first in class. Sunday began with the second Formula Junior race, Ian began again in 27th position, during the race he took off 2 seconds of his best time, unfortunately on the last corner he had a spin and could not restart the car, loosing out on his 1st in class by only a couple of seconds. Overall Ian received a 2nd in class when the two races were combined. The second Formula Two saw Phil Hall finish in 2nd position overall in his March 752. Overall a good weekend, with some great finishes.
