Goodwood Revival Test
A busy week has just gone for Complete Motorsport Solutions, beginning and ending with two Official Goodwood Revival Tests with Mike Whitaker and his Lola T70 MKII.
On both days Mike had booked Nick Padmore as a driver coach and to give advice on the best set up for Mike. Mike continued to improve upon his times throughout the day beginning in damp conditions and later on drying out. CMS took the car away on Monday night and altered the car to the suggested set up changes ready for Friday's repeat test.
Oulton Park HSCC Gold Cup
CMS took both Ian Simmonds Formula Junior Envoy and Mike Whitaker's Lola T70 to Oulton Park HSCC Gold Cup for Mondays race event.
Mike Whitaker's Lola T70 was invited to complete a demonstration lap in memory of John Surtees.
Ian Simmonds entered his Formula Junior Envoy MK1/3 in the event, and qualified:
14th / 19 with a best time of 2:10.297, Ian did not finish race one and in race two he finished 13th / 17 with a best time of 2:08.925 and 1st in class!
